hong kong part ii

 So since my last post, quite a few things have passed - I finally got my HSC results (and can breathe a long-awaited sigh of relief), the world didn't explode, I caught up with friends, etc etc. Anyway, this post is dedicated to Disneyland because I took a lot of photos there (over 500 to be honest with you)! My family went on our last full day in Hong Kong which wasn't really ideal, but then again it was the only day forecast not to rain. Even though I've been to two Disneylands now it never gets old... in fact, I'm really hoping I can visit the others sometime in the near future!

Yep, the Disneyland here has it's own special train and station! The carriages even had Mickey-shaped windows.

The prettiest shop displays in Main Street. Even though I went in early December, they had already decked out everything for Christmas...

Tiny birds that are literally EVERYWHERE. Probably not a good thing if you're slightly scared of birds (like me).

Such lovely figurines! I really regret not buying one now... In case you can't tell, there was actually a guy making them there in the shop.

Not pictured, but the clock's puppets come out to dance every hour. Even though It's a Small World is kind of a ride for babies, I still love it...

It's Jasmine and Aladdin! Can you believe I only watched the whole movie for the first time last month? I had a sad, sad childhood...

Warning: it's impossible to leave this ride without singing the song to yourself for the rest of the day (or week).

My sister eating fried chicken... with complimentary gloves?! Definitely something I'd never seen before, but then again it makes sense.

I'm not about to lie, this character creeped me out a little bit...  it just looks too weird and human-like to be Stitch!

Toy Story Land! The rides are pretty fun (especially the RC Racer one) but I swear, they are way too short...

I happen to really like Tarzan's Treehouse for some reason. FYI, everything here (tree and leaves included) is fake...

... even this fake elephant that is scarily real-looking! Can you blame me for initially thinking it was alive...

 The same balloons actually light up at night. This is a random thought, but I always thought it'd be so cool to live near a Disneyland! Think about it, if I were one of those schoolkids I could just drop by after school or whenever I felt like it...

At nighttime everything looks completely different. Funnily enough, I feel like more people actually come in after dark.
